Tonight I Hosted a Book Club

It was just on May 27th that I had a conversation with a friend. I told him I wanted to have more interesting conversations. To be surrounded by more ambitious people. My move to San Francisco was still over a month away, I didn’t want to wait.

He’s a good friend. Knows when to support and knows when to push. “You should start a book club” he said.

And then he did what any good friend would do. He bought me three copies of The Obstacle is the Way. One for myself, and the others for two friends he said. And he booked a dinner reservation for 4 weeks out, a table for 3.

“Go start a book club” he repeated.
